The PAID Weather Channel app. Was just updated to show pollen and live radar on the main screen, pop up warnings (within the app), severe weather/pollen alerts (outside the app). Has a very clean UI and easy to use.

My goto is RadarUS. It is a radar only, it also show warnings and watches. I believe it gets its data from NOAA (the most reliable imo). My second Fav is the Yahoo Weather App and I also use TWC and WU only for the push warning messages... although I think Ive seen warning and notification only apps too

Anyone tried Aero yet? Looks pretty nice and has nice, decent animations. I'm using it on an iPhone 4 and I see no stutter or lag or anything.

Very interested in this thread. I'm in Texas, and the weather here runs to extremes - like extremely HOT!

I've used the following: The Weather Channel, Accuweather, Weather Bug Elite, and Yahoo Weather.

The Weather Channel seems like the best (It is the main source of weather I get off cable tv also).

Accuweather still doesn't have an IOS 7 version, and the layout is too congested for me.

Weather Bug Elite, the icons are never right. The icons are based off the nearest AIRPORT. So in Chicago, I live 15 miles from O'Hare, so when it's raining there, and not where I live, I see RAIN icon, which is inaccurate. I've reported this over the last year, and has never been fixed or addressed.

Yahoo Weather, too basic, and notice the "Details" section is always wrong. Says Sunny at 58F today in details, yet the temp now is 42F, with a high of 52F and rain today. So weather is wrong.

Another vote for WeatherPro (not a Universal app, unfortunately, but there are versions for both iPhone and iPad), as it's quite information-rich, and the forecasts seem reasonably good. For the full slew of data, you'll want to subscribe.

Meteogram's also worth a try - a very clean UI with a good amount of information laid out particularly cleanly. I've found its forecasts to be somewhat optimistic, however.

Any other users of clear weather? I've given it a try and its a little bit out with readings.. Just the other night it claimed it was -5 when in fact it was more like 0 or even 1C... Shame as the rest of the app is ok...

Good Weather Application

Hi guys,
Yahoo Weather is best.it is free. It’s one of the prettiest weather apps ever created — and it very clearly inspired Apple’s own default app for iOS 7. Where the built-in app will tell you the current temperature and a basic short term forecast, Yahoo Weather includes advanced data such as wind speed, barometric pressure, and sunrise and sunset times. And it does it all in an attractive, easy to read manner that doesn’t bombard you with confusing numbers and metrics.

Yahoo Weather presents the current weather conditions with images pulled from Flickr, and gives you everything you need in one, vertical scrolling column. It has hourly forecasts, five or ten-day forecasts, and detailed meteorological information for the current conditions. The iPhone version even has animated weather apps, but it lacks alerts for severe weather conditions. It’s not nearly as powerful as Dark Sky, but it’s a great way to quickly find the basic information you’ll need for the day.

Great app except it says 'unable to load' when used as an iOS 8 widget. Very annoying.
