I asked Apple Intelligence on Mac OS X 15.1 this question:

How much time is between 11:55 to 14:52

At which point it answered "I don't understand" or provided some links to calculate this online.. For the moment, it's missing the mark..

I feel like Apple has squandered all this time since Siri launched to really make it much more capable....

The future is not bright.. Let's hope this is only a beta issue.. Its not rocket science.. Easily answered by ChatGPT..

really glad macrumors posted this article.

it more or less proves two things:
1 the generalised current level of this thing being called AI is such a ridiculously low level. about the level of dorky 12 year old.
2 that someone would ask this question to AI in the first place indicates how mankind repeats the process of dumbing down tech for such low purposes as holiday costumes.

What is this IA you speak of? Is it the next great thing in artificial intelligence?!?!? 😃

People forget that Siri, to date, has been very rigid. While it does handle loosely-worded requests reasonably well, the responses can be too trained in one direction or another. For example, I often find requests for songs give back some latest overnight hit that I've never heard of and don't want to hear.

The next Siri will be vastly different, and better, than the current Siri. Just wait and see.
Well, try out the beta in 15.1 and see for yourself.... Not yet impressed.. Let's see how things pan out in the long term..

I swear to god they need to fire the ENTIRE Siri team and anyone whose ever worked on it.
