I used to have a 13" 2009 MBP with 4GB of RAM and 90GB SSD... Loved it! but i started working for a website and I needed to take my laptop EVERYWHERE, so it turns out, the 13" MBP was destroying my shoulders.

Went with the 13" MBA and I LOVE THIS THING, would not go back... So light and portable, sometimes I forget the thing is in my backpack.

Obviously my computer use/needs may differ from yours. Good luck!

It will allow light gaming, but it will be NO MATCH for Nvidia 320M graphic cards. You will get a boost with CPU.

Benchmarks and games show its only a few fps difference...and for some games that are CPU intensive it actually outperforms.

The difference between the two is sooooooo over blown.

Uhm, no. The 2010 MBP 13" have been shown to get 54% more FPS in CoD 4 than new MBP 13" (2011 model). Starcraft 2 under Win 7 fetches 40% higher FPS on the 2010 model, Left 4 Dead gets 30% higher FPS. The only time they are close or the 2011 model wins is when you use really LOW settings or some games under OS X. To add to this the lowest FPS recorded on the 2011 model is A LOT lower, so you'll notice lag spikes at the same settings.

That difference will most likely be bigger between the Airs because the GPUs clocks differ much depending on the processor speed on the HD3000.

I wouldn't call that big differences "just a few fps". Specially since those percents is the difference between "not playable" and "playable".

I never had a bad experience with intel HD integrated before. Heck, Star Trek Online played great on my old Dell. Once I went Mac with the Nvidia 320m, I never went back. WoW and STO looked so much better. If the new Airs are Intel, I may try to beat the clock and sell my MBP now to try to get the Back to School deal on the 2010 Air. I'm thinking of it to the point where I partitioned my 500GB WD hard drive to include a time machine backup so I can restore important files and programs to the new air.

Yeah, same here. I went as far as to list my MBP cheap so I can get it sold quicker and get the Air quicker.
