Just curious - what kind of situation demanded that you erase the boot drive on a brand new Mac?
Pretty sure that you have to disable the security settings, and disable SIP when you need to do that.
I used to do a full erase as part of my setup routine on a new Mac, but not since the advent of the t2 chip.

There are two different pentalobe sizes used in Mac equipment.
The laptop bottom covers all use the P5, which can also use the size designation of 1.2mm.
The P6 pentalobe (1.5mm) is actually too large to fit the bottom cover screws.
Where is that used? 2009 MacBook Pro battery. It's the only Mac use, AFAIK.
