Then something is wrong with your iPhone i guess. Even with a jailbreak on mine i charge every two days only and i also play stuff like bastion on it. Have to charge my nexus 4 every day even if i only do browsing as the major part of usage.

----------

Gnex was notorious for that.

I use a nano to micro adapter for nexus 4 and use the same nano sim.

Did same for GS3. Just be careful.

Yea I know. It would cost me way more money then the phone is work to fix it.

I got may battery working now, so that is not a real issue. There is no way I could get 2 days off it though. I am on track to get 8 hours usage on the battery, but there is not way I could get 2 days.

So do you slide the sim into the adaptor, or it just kind of lays in there? The ones I used just laid in the adapter so when I tried to put it into the Gnex it would just fall out and get stuck.

There is a clear backing so it doesn't fall out. I had that issue with the ones where it is supposed to just be a perfect fit.

Just to give you another battery update with the note 2. I leave GPS, wifi, and bluetooth on 24/7.....currently I have 81% battery with 10 hours 3 minutes off the charger and 1 hour 5 minutes screen time. Usually I get about 5 hours 30 minutes screen time before I charge it at night with still 35% battery.

Wow that is crazy. I am not up for an upgrade at AT&T so I did the Internet chat thing and the person said they could not do an early upgrade. I told her thanks and I would try and call and talk to a manager about it. I am planning on calling after I get off work just to see what will happen. I hope they will let me upgrade, but I am not so sure.

When people post battery life, it would be good to include if they are in a LTE area and what is the strength. These variables are what determine battery life along with screen time.

I most of the time I am in an LTE area. I keep LTE on most of time. I hardly ever use wifi.

There is the reason for your battery life issue...

Well I am good now. Even on LTE you are suppose to get almost 8 hours of usage which is what Apple's site says. I was not getting that for the past couple of weeks. I did a restore last night and got ride if some apps that were draining the battery and I am good now.

I am still considering the Note II for my second phone. Everyone here seems to think it is very good phone, and you can't go wrong with that battery life.

If your going for LTE usage, its simoly a case of go for any phone with a massive battery to aid your battery life.

Thankfully by the time LTE hits here (2015-2095) they will have better LTE chips/radios that aren't as power-hungry.

Also I still think you should go for android regardless, it seemingly meets your needs more so than iOS and much more tinker friendly for changing things up.

Yea, I think for the most part that is the case. I have had 3 iphone and 3 android phones both offer some things I like. We will see AT&T might not let me upgrade so I might be stuck whether I want to be or not.

Get the note ii. Everyone I know with one loves it and its really a much more powerful phone as far as what you can do with it. The battery is fantastic as well.

Stick with iphone if you are pleased with the battery life. All that matters is if you can get though a whole day. 2 days battery life is not really that important if you charge your phone every night like most people.

I am always in an Lte area with full bars. When I get home I get on wifi, but the first 10 hours of my day is spent of Lte . I leave work with around 2 hours of screen time and 11 hours on battery with 80% left.

So I went and looked at the note 2 today. Thought it was a really cool phone. My only question is does it offer S voice offer anything close to Siri? Or I gues google now as well. I like to use Siri to read my text messages while I am driving and to reply back to them. Can I do that with the note 2?

I went from an iPhone 5 to a Note II and haven't regretted it. Love the battery life, screen size and back button. Camera is just as fantastic too. When i tried switching back to the iPhone, I always miss having the features listed above.

Also, don't fall for the ecosystem hype. If you use Google services such as calendar, Gmail and drive, you will have no problem switching to any phone or use any platform. I have a surface pro, imac and Note II and they ask work well together. As for people whining about imessage, Facebook chat works great. Plus the people who matter have it anyway for me.

Can't go wrong with the Note II. As someone mentioned, the transition is like going from a PC to a Mac. Just need do give it a chance. It was the same for me when I went from an iPad to Surface Pro. I am more productive than ever.

Their S voice is not as good as Siri. Google acts more like Siri but without the text reading ability.

Ok so I can have it send messages, but reading them I can not do?

I don't think so. I've just been hearing that Svoice is horrible. And all info that you want to know get from the google voice side.

Between s voice and Google now you can do just about anything. You can send text but not have them read.

No it can't but the S voice is still pretty decent to use...not like siri is perfect either. Can't remember the last time I actually used siri now..

Thanks guys. Siri gets what I say wrong about 50% of the time. Not real concerned about not having it.

Yeah same here, was good for reading out texts when I had my headphones on but don't do that often now anyway..not apple headphones anyway.

My dad has the note 2 and loves it..great piece of kit. Features are impressive it's why I'm likely getting the S4 when it's out...wanted a change and the bigger screen is a big selling point to me.

After using his phone for abit using my 5 just seems weird with how small the screen is.

Alright I have had the note 2 for about 10 hours now. The size of this thing is crazy. To be honest I have not found a thing I can't do that my iPhone could. The only thing that I am missing is the imessage because most of my family has iPhone. I don't see why people complain about S voice I think it is pretty good. Just my first thoughts.

Out of Siri, Google Now, and S Voice ........... S voice seems to have the worst voice recognition. Makes more mistakes/typos for me. Other than that, S Voice is pretty good. I use S Voice over Google now for a quick text sometimes, simply cause with Google Now you still have to physically tap send and the sometimes the correct contact tab it displays. Siri and S Voice asks you these things, hence it's fully automated. I don't know why Google Now hasn't fixed this.

There's plenty that the iPhone can't do, just the Samsung features alone are plenty. Like Multiview, Popup browser, Smartstay, and etc. Also the openness of Android, like settings default browser and apps, filesystem, BT transfer, and etc. :)
