Last android phone I had was a samsung epic 4g then went to a iphone 4.....so it has been a while and I am considering going back to android, since jelly bean came out how has been the lag on the new devices?

Minimal in comparison to older Android devices but still not quite as fluid as the latest iPhones in my opinion.

This is due to a couple technical reasons. Just because the iPhone is fluid and smooth scrolling (not always but usually) doesn't mean that's necessarily a good thing.

I feel that my Nexus 4 is almost as smooth as my iPhone 4S.

Might sound a bit biased considering I've had the S1, S2 and S3, but...

I've noticed a real rise in the polish of samsung's handsets since the S-range begun. It may be plastic and the software may strike as similar to that of the S3 but I can almost guarantee it will be extremely refined and work well.

For that reason alone, I'm trusting samsung once again and will get the S4

They are all going to be great.

Test them out and see which interface interests you more.

Thanks... I've just pulled the trigger on what seems like a great deal for the HTC One.

Should receive it on Thursday/Friday, let's see.
