Probably because the classic mac pro has all but become obsolete with the lack of non 2009 I/O
I love my mac pros to pieces. but every day I look at my windows computer and wonder why the mac pro couldn't have had minor spec bumps through 2012 with USB 3 and PCIE 3 and Bluetooth 4 ect ect.

I mean come on guys, the sata ports are only gen 2..

They are 7-8 years old and getting slow. Unfortunately the nMP is not a suitable replacement for me. If the mMP has slots and bays then I might be back.

I attached a Satechi 4-port USB 3.0 hub to the rear handle on my 4,1->5,1 and I like it. The aluminum finishes match pretty closely. I reversed the orientation of the clamp so that it attaches tightly to the handle.

The Inatek KT 4004 works in my MP 4.1 without any problems - without any additional power-conection other than the one of the PCI-slot, so installation takes just some minutes. Works even with OS Sierra. I don´t know if it is ok to post a link for customer commentaries on amazon , you might at least find yourself 9 of 10 customers in Germany giving 5 of 5 stars, one single not - but he himself is not shure having it installed correctly - as he writes himself...
