I'm in the same situation as you are OP. My lockbutton hasn't worked for 3 three months. The store told me they would replace my phone once I bring it in.

I dont want to loose my JB so activator has become my best friend.
I've actually stopped using the lockbutton on all my other devices, Activator methods are faster and easier.

No way i'm going back to stock iOS.. neither should you.
