It is remarkably fast on 3G, pages load like I'm using DSL or Cable. 3G is fast! :D

Ahh, I've been pulling my hair out trying to get it to work on my MBP in OSX Tiger but the instructions fail to mention you must stay in Netshare on your iPhone to tether. I foolishly got out of the Netshare App and tried to tether.

Remember... iPhone apps DONT run in the background!!!!

to me, seems like the PERFECT solution to spending $50 a month on a wireless card!! Too bad i have an edge iphone, but slow internet is better than NO internet.

I think i will buy tonight and HOPEFULLY get my macbook up and running on this thing.. seems a tad complicated, but if i can figure out php and mysql, i SHOULD be able to do this
 
just got it working on v1 iphone using edge. its definitely faster on a laptop than using the iphone browser, probably twice as fast. awesome app!
 
OMG i want this soo bad, but my husband wont let me buy it!! I WANT IT!!

I'm surprised that it is that much faster on the laptop.. What kind of connection speed do you get on EDGE??
 
haha.. i think they just get off on this crap.. first its there, then its not.. then its there again, and then taken right back down!!

I'm really disappointed in myself for the ONE time i listen to my husband and NOT spend my money

Well the good news is that there are free alternatives, all you have to do is jailbreak your phone. Surely your husband knows a bit about that. :D
 
I was able to get the app today and it is working great for me. I little rough at first seeing how my iphone did not want to drop my home wireless network. So I had to disable my wireless at first. After a couple of tries I was able to get it to work.
 
i didnt get the joke about my husband knowing about jailbreaking :confused:

but yea, i wont jailbreak my phone.. i have enough tech problems as it is configuring my website and such, i DO NOT need to deal with errors on my phone's OS.. i will just deal.
