Funny thing, I emailed them back and asked about the app and if it was going to be back in the store and if it was, if I had previously purchased it, would it be considered purchased. She said, as far as they can tell, the developer pulled it, it won't be back. Thus the credit was issued. She also gave me 5 free songs. So, even though I'd rather play the game, I'm happy. :D

NWN2 should be visible on the Purchased list for those who had it previously bought it. You can download the game through that list.

That's interesting: it's back on the Purchased list now. It wasn't there a couple of hours ago; that seems to be what people (including me) were complaining about. Now if it will just stay there....

It's just as well: I wrote to the app store people, too, and they DIDN'T offer to give me my money back. CylonGlitch, can I ask what you said to them that was so successful?

Here is what I originally sent :
Specific request: I'm unable to locate my purchased app
Item title: NeverWinter Nights™ 2, v1.23.1765 (9+)
Details: It appears that this application is no longer in the Mac App Store. I purchased it due to a "limited time sale" but never downloaded it because my machine isn't really up to snuff (I want to buy the next gen that should be out shortly).

What happened to this application? Did Apple pull it from the store? Did the developer pull it? It isn't even showing up in my purchase history, thus something is odd. If it isn't going to be coming back, can I get a refund?

Thanks,
Dave

The first response back from them was, Refund issued, no questions, nothing. I then said that if it was going to be returning so that I could still get it, I would rather have the game instead. Was there any idea that it would come back?

Second response was : Sorry, no idea, I've given you a five song credit.

/Shrug

Sadly, if it's back, I still want it! :(

Oh well, no big deal. It is NOT in my purchased list (as it shouldn't be because I got a refund for it) nor is it in the store. Very, very odd day. :(

Bahh.. sorry I jumped the gun, I should have known you guys would pull through, you've done a great job in the past. Thanks for correcting this for those who were in my situation. :D

Thanks for all your help, ClyonGlitch, and to everyone else. The game is now back in my purchased list, where it belongs. I'm not sure if there was a mistake here, or if Aspyr were trying to pull a fast one on us. I wonder what happened? Either way, due to the diligence of the many, it has now been resolved.

Nice one.

D. :)
