I'm sure this would interest a lot of people around here. Care to elaborate?

The "i" moniker is used for handheld devices running iOS.

The new Mac Pro will NOT run iOS and will not be an "i" device.

Lol, I guess I missed that one (Thats what writing a thesis for the last 3 weeks does to you).

If they change the Mac Pro to the iPro, then surely the Mac Mini and MacBook lines will follow suit.

The imac mini half caff pro latte.

I will bet you eleventy billion dollars, it will not be called "iPro." That's just stupid.

Apple has discarded Mac Pro

The reality is that the Mac Pro is dying **** Off Apple!!!!!!!!!

Anybody knows someone at Apple ? someone who would know the next macpro release date ? thx

If the Mac Pro is hung up waiting on Xeon E5's then it is Intel insiders you may want to seek. Intel hasn't set any date on that either (or no such date has leaked.) . If they haven't and Apple is waiting on them then.... few inside of Apple would know either.

Fact is that none of Apple other workstations competitors are shipping anything new either. Rather older stuff with more discounts slapped on top to move product.

Where is the truth ?

People will live on no matter what happens with the Pro, but they need to be able to plan their investments. Apple's insistence on secrecy and orgasmic presentations is why pros can't rely on macs for anything long-term.
