I don't really want to go through the pain of recording and uploading a video of it, but I have been playing WoW on full Ultra settings and native res with v-sync on and get a steady (max w/ vsync) 60 fps at all times... even in Org/Dal etc.
I don't see any issues with sunshafts or water details on high as some mac owners were having. The most demanding thing seems to be shadows. I can take off vsync and turn shadows down to high and the fps goes way up.

yeah, I started with sunshafts and shadows on low but then raised them up to high and my FPS didn't change much. I found having 16x AF was what was killing me. Changed it to 8x AF and my framerates are smooth. And I don't see any quality difference either.

However everytime I restart the game my AA goes back to 1x and it won't retain my setting.

This is a known bug because Apples OpenGL drivers does not work as well as they should. If your Liquid Details are set to anything above fair your multisampling will not be enabled(no matter what u set it to and thats why it reset when you restart).

Ive played around with my settings on a high-end 27" and im currently running custom ultra settings where this have been changed:
Shadows: High (Down)
Liquid Details: Fair (Down)
Multisampling: 8x (Up)
Sunshafts: Disabled (Down, this because something does not cooperate well when both sunshafts and multisampling is in use, any multisampling together with sunshafts will drop my fps down to sub 10).

Its vertical sync enable and most of the times i get caped at 60fps. Sometimes it might go down but never below 30. Might be another Apple-drivers bug that does this tho. People have reported massive fps-drop from moving the camera ingame aswell.

Done both a few ZA's, ZG's and raids and everything is running smooth as hell in there, its mostly in larger populated areas i get dropped to below 60fps.
