New app: Summerboard. EXCELLENT!

I wish they would take the component of springboard that lets you customize the homescreen wallpaper and make an app that just lets you change the homescreen wallpaper. I dont want icon srcrolling or anything, I just want to get rid of the boring black background.

You can do this by simply choosing a picture from your Photo Library and setting it as your background. Just drop a picture into your Pictures folder on your Mac, set iTunes to sync that folder (or whatever folder you want) and it will be there waiting for you in your phone.

I was wondering if we could have 5 icons per row on the spring board...

This would match my 5 icons in the dock much better. It looks kinda stupid the way I have it setup now, two rows of four, and the dock is 5.

now that you own the whole main screen, why not make it respond to orientation changes?

yah that would be cool, the landscape needs to be in more places like mail
