New Apple Store coming to Brighton.

Yay, Apple are going to open a store in Brighton, England. I read this a little while back on TUAW, and today I checked Apple's site and found job opportunity's. I also found out that Apple are recruiting for: Milton Keynes, Glasgow (Their first store in Scotland), Birmingham (Would be their second Birmingham Store).

Can't wait until the Apple Store comes to Brighton... I'll probably get banned for spending too much time in there .

As far as I know, the UK version of Brighton is older than your version in Michigan and ours came first. Most likely it was given the name from settlers from the UK when they colonised the US.

Just like York is to New York. Maybe you should speak to your Government official and have your Brighton changed to New Brighton if it makes you feel better. Just so you know, the US also has a London and a Manchester as well.

It's about time.

So I am walking through Churchill Square and notice a big black temporary store front.

I didn't think anything of it until I saw the big white Apple logo and the website on it!

It is where Envy used to be next to River Island - As for when it will be opened who knows?

But the fact that it now has a location and the Apple logo is on the front is good news.

Who knows maybe us local to Brighton can pick up a new iPhone from Apple soon!

There is a new store coming to Aberdeen, Scotland aswell. It will be located in the new shopping complex near the train station.

I think Apple has a thing about avoiding the North East, the Closest Apple Store to me is 100 miles away in the Trafford Center or a drive up to Scotland, we need a proper Apple store in Newcastle or the Metrocentre. We do have a small Apple Store in Currys In Team Valley but it's not the same.

Hooray, Apple Store in Brighton!!

I went to have a look today & they have put up some contractor information, work started on 13th April & is expected to take 16 weeks to complete which seems like ages but will soon come round!

Worked it out to be first week in August!?

Really? I've never been. Out of interest, what's different about that one? Do apple hire people especially, do they have a genius bar etc.?

And i agree, we do need one up here. Metrocentre is the biggest shopping centre in the UK, i don't see why they don't have one there. It'd increase their reputation up here too. Our nearest one is manchester or glasgow. Maybe they just having got round to putting one up here yet?

we do, we do, we do need a store in Brighton! I can now go to all the training sessions I want and get my stuff sorted out, probably have to que for hours but it will be worth it. That reminds me ... I will need another credit card to buy all these new goodies that I will have got to get. Just kidding

I'm aware that one is supposed to be arriving in Aberdeen, but there is a huge area in the North East without a nearby store. Edinburgh or Newcastle would be great places to put a store, but they keep ignoring the opportunity.

I dunno, but when I spoke to a security nearby he said it's opening around end of May.
