new AT&T carrier logo after MMS update

thank you for having a bit of faith that I actually have a life... lol. here is the screen shot of my "about settings" but what's weirder is that I had to reset my phone cause of the 3.1 lock up and its gone now. comes back every-once in a couple resets.

So you are using a custom carrier file that probably wasn't setup correctly?

You left off the ONLY interesting part of the About screen!!! The part with the Carrier name! :p
 
Why is your AT&T logo normal when you posted the screen shot of your settings? But on the homescreen, it's not.
 
The exact same thing happened to my iPhone once, right after I installed one of those tethering profiles off of the ben.att.net site or whatever the URL is. The logo then reverted back to normal after a few minutes of use, without me restarting the phone or anything. Never really thought anything of it at the time...

You guys don't read very well do you? He specifically says that he finds it weird that the logo issue is intermittent after resets.
 
I have had this happen before. It randomly happens once in a blue moon. A simple restart makes it go away. Not entirely sure what it means though.

Yea... But still no screenshot of the Carrier in the Settings>General>About... You could even just TELL me what it said with and/or without the funny logo.

EDIT: Not Carrier, sorry. I meant Network.
