ooh fancy pictures of sensitive internal documents. these AT&T employees are not very good about keeping documents within the company. Nice to know Apple doesn't operate like this. Keeps the excitement real.

 JEEEZUS! You can never please some people....everyone on this site cries and complains that no official information is being released about the iphone. Then everyone tries to discredit me when I tell you guys I'm an at&t employee... Now that I prove I'm an at&t rep AND get you OFFICIAL info... you criticize me that I'm not keeping secrets. I'm keeping my word to this site... I promised to get you official info as soon as the reps know anything... and I will continue to do so!!

Notice they say there should be someone for crowd control from 9AM to 10 PM. Better get there early

I think that is a good sign there will be plenty of iPhones on Friday. It will be quite lame if they are sold out by 6:30pm.

I am hoping Apple can show Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo how to do a product launch.

Nah, they might need crowd control for people who get pissed if there are only 20-30 phones. Not that I want that, but you just never know.

They must have fairly good inventory...

If the memo is true - and it looks official - then I'm guessing they are planning on pretty good inventory.

Look at the Back Office/Inventory Manager job - they wouldn't need that if they only have about 20 on hand - "ok Bob, here's number 12, be careful with tracking it and make sure it doesn't get lost"

To me it points to at least 50, and I'm just guessing.

That's a very good point.

Come on everyone, do you really think only 20-30 units will be at a store? Think about how little that really is... 20 X 1,800 would mean apple has only sent 36,000 to AT&T. That is totally ridiculous, seriously we are freaking out a little bit too much. Think different... as in logically for a moment.

Also that memo is completely fake. Not shooting you down OP, just the letter shown. Look at the capitalization at the bottom regarding distribution. The second sentence is half caps for the first word of each sentence and then suddenly switches to regular font after the all uppercase ONLY. Even better is the floating copyright symbol with no date nor associated with anything that has a copyright.

Dude this is official.... wow! You guys don't believe ANYTHING. The floating copyright symbol is from Flickr. That is on the bottom of every picture... enlarge any of my pictures in that link. They all have the floating copyright line under the picture....

I have a strong belief that each AT&T store will have at least 150 iphones.

The floating copyright is Flickr's -- it's part of the page, not part of the image.

I hope the original poster enjoyed his/her time working for AT&T -- posting internal documents is an express ticket to Fired-ville.

of course I'm aware that leaking internal documents can get me fired... that's why i didn't use my real name, real email address, or even a real flickr account. Come on as Mac enthusiasts I would hope we would all give each other more credit than that. You know we live under the radar people...

I wasn't criticizing you for releasing the documents, I'm just saying if you are truly an AT&T employee you are a bad one. I would never release confidential information from my employer even if it was about iPhone. You shouldn't have done it, and I hope you get fired for your violation of company rules.

ok.... I guess that's cool. "This guy finally gives us some solid info so we can stop speculating and rest assured of some real details about a product
I really want...I hope he gets fired!" Your awesome dude!! What a great human being... I'm SOOOOO glad scumbags like you populate the planet...:apple:

I'm sorry dude, but you are an employee of a corporation and they expect you to keep internal documents secure and not share them with the public. I worked for Best Buy, and they made me take numerous little computer classes about the different kinds of company documents and stressed over and over about not sharing internal documents with anyone outside of the company. It is wrong what you did, I'm sorry if you fail to see that. It's not like that memo even gave us any real good information about iPhone. It talked about team roles at AT&T stores. It is talking about employees and their roles in selling iPhone. It does not particularly help anyone.

cool man... we'll agree to disagree on this one, but like a said before on a previous post... all the info i used to register on this site, yahoo and on flickr are in no way shape or form connected to my real identity...

That's one thing you have going for you. But seriously, if you do happen to see how many iPhone are coming to your store, please feel free to share that info. :D

....besides with your whole "corporations" speech, sounds like you're not a TRUE apple fan anyway: Real Apple fanboys are NOT republicans!! ie: San Francisco
