so there's a seller on eBay called freedomoclock, and he's selling the adapters that have the spring loaded pins, like Click, but mush lower profile and IMO nicer looking for half the price.
Just got it in the mail today and am pretty pleased with the quality. Only $17 for SS.

Here's some pics.

Also shown is the ULAK band from Amazon, that I'm not too thrilled over, but it's ok for $15.

I have received these exact same adapters and I really do like them as compared to the screw in type adapters. I have both and this by far seems better in quality and fits much more flush than the other. Purchased from the same user as well.

on a scale from 1 to 10, how's the fitment of the adapter on the watch? is it pretty flush? or can you tell it's third party? really want a well made adapter that fits almost perfectly.

Pretty flush. I'd say 9.5.
Only thing is if you push the adapter side to side, it has a tiny bit of give, but negligible. If someone told me this was directly from the made for AW program, I'd believe them. Excellent work. Now time to hit up the malls and get some more bands.

For the record, the OEM Apple sport bands have a little bit of give side to side as well. Prolly 1/32 - 1/16". From the pics, it looks to be similar on this adaptor. Thanks for the review! I've been watching the adaptor on eBay for a while and I think this will get me to pull the trigger. Been itching for a brown leather band for my watch.

Get it man, I think it's a limited supply. Really great quality. I would have dropped $40 for this and have no qualms.

Yeah, I received them as well. Great product. Now I just wish he had them in black/space gray.

Looks good.

Particularly like how it uses standard spring loaded pins. That pretty much guarantees it'll work with any 3rd party strap.

Only minor complaint is the holes (that receive the pins) are showing on the outside. Probably easier to manufacture that way, I'd guess.

If the holes weren't on the outside you couldn't use some metal bands.
Metal bands don't have the flex needed to access the spring bars so unless the bands themselves have the necessary cutaways you need exterior access.

I got the same adapters and mine are a brushed SS finish; it looks like from the first pictures, the OP's were also brushed but they look polished in a later pic of watch on wrist. Is there an easy way to polish them so they match the SS casing? The adapters look nice, but the brushed finish bothers me.

I think it's the angle of the pictures. Here's another view that shows the polished ss a little better.

I have the same adapters. The brushed finish is just the inner portion of the adapter. The outer part of the adapter is the only part that is polished, since it is the only part of the adapter that is visible when connected to the watch. Don't worry, it'll match your SS perfectly fine, as it does mine.

This is my question as well.
