i really like this alot! i like the way it is, very simple and easy, one thing i would like is to see a preview for example the themes, that would be really nice.

It froze my iPhone. Had to force reset. Great

Never had to do this with Cydia.

My take on Icy: SUCKS. It not very good, at all. It's slow, crashes, and it's not good at managing, well, anything.

I haven't seen if anyone has posted which version of Icy they are using, I noticed it started at 1.0 but now is on 1.1. Also might be good to start posting what iphone OS your running. 2.2 VS 2.2.1

Anyone notice if Icy got better with 1.1. Im a little leery of installing this with all the negative feedback it seems to be getting recently.

I wouldn't install it. I don't see any reason why you would. It's not fast like it claims, and it's not really better at doing anything. I would stick to Cydia.

Fix blank categories

To all those having problems getting a category list, here is what I did to fix it:

- Launch Icy
- go to Sources
- tap Edit
- tap the + sign
- tap on Add All
- tap on done
- Relaunch Icy (i am not sure if this is necessary, but I had to do it because after clicking Done, i all icons/buttons became greyed out)
- go to Sources
- tap on refresh

after this everything is working fine.

Guys, I jailbroke my iphone and was able to get Cydia. I know I've heard good and bad about ICY but I tried to install it and evertime I would I would get a message saying it could not find com.ripdev.installerd. I'm starting to wonder if I really jailbroke it correctly or if it's just something else. Can anyone assist?
