Where in Cali?

I dont' feel so bad thinking Chico was the person's name.

Nice little place. Looking on Google Maps, I thought at first it was one of those isolated towns away from the big city. The kind of township you'd find on your way between big cities but with almost 100,000 people, that's not really that small.

Anyway, Chico, congratulations. Basking in the greatness of something you've worked hard for is that much sweeter. You're inspirational. Keep up the good work.

Congrats on the move that is one seriously nice office.

BTW didn't realise this thread was so darn old....

This is super nice! (And also two years old I noticed :p)

I hope to someday take my studio (game development) out of my apartment and into a nice place like that :D )

There's nothing wrong with that. It's called being creative. If you don't "get it", perhaps design work isn't your cup of tea.

What exactly is creative about doing the same thing that practically every other design firm does? I thought that was cliche. Oh well, it goes with wearing sandals and having a goatee. :D

The OP's firm is clearly farther down the road of success in design work than a young student is. While you're entitled to your inexperienced opinion, it doesn't mean much.
