got my 21.5 incher on Monday, noticed 1 dead pixel yesterday. Not sure if it's worth hassling with for 1 pixel, keeping an eye out for more. I have 3 yr AppleCare, so I'm not sweating it too much yet.
Wow this is insane! First we had glass screens since the 50's then went to matte screens that completely eliminated reflections, and I thought wow what a breakthrough then back to glossy screens with NO choice which are horrible. I have 4 LCD back lit monitors and never notice any pixels missing so now with the LED LCD we are stuck with plasma like crappy dropouts? Is this evolution in reverse or what???????
On another thread people are saying not to buy the new Imacs because of a whole host of problems are any of you having the same problems, Im getting cold feet.............
Not sure how anyone can be talking about a whole host of problems since they've only been out for 3 days. Mine replaced a 4.5 year old G5 iMac, and three days in, I love it. Fast and beautiful. One dead pixel doesn't change that.
