The current iMacs have been out for 300+ days. I really think it would be silly to buy a current generation. They are awesome machines, but we're close enough to the next generation to wait.

I agree its burning a hole in mine! The thing is that I just got a job last month til august then i'm done becuase of school but I got 500 bucks from my job and I'll have like 1,500 for my iMac plus my parents will chip in! I can't wait. no more windows on my parents computer!
Guys.... 300 days is not a long time. Sure, maybe for Apple, but WHO CARES?
If you need an iMac, buy it. If the revision comes out tomorrow, so what? Does that make your iMac any less useful to you then it was when you bought it? No. So, just go ahead and enjoy it and don't think about updates. You'll be glad you decided not to wait.
