New Ipad Owner - wifi not very hot

Sometimes my connection is at about 18mb/s but some websites, including this one, will still download kinda slow.... ?

there are a bunch of other things that come into effect here, its not that easy.

Wow - just loaded up the new Airport extreme this morning and all electronics - xbox360, 2 macs and the Ipad are all screaming now. Netflix runs without a hitch on the ipad. Thanks to all for the help.

I find the iPad wifi is weak.

You need to be have 1 wall or no wall between iPad and wifi station.

Even 1 wall can result in spotty reception.

I'm not having any issues like this. In our office I am at least 3 walls away from our companies Linksys Wireless Router (standard setup) and my iPad works flawlessly.

Not in my experience. Works great at the office in multiple different rooms. Works great at home - one Time Capsule running a WPA2 802.11n network at one end of the house, full signal everywhere on my iPad on all 3 floors (large house).
