The iPhone 11 Pro Max is a game changer partially attributed to the new A13 chip.
I'm just glad Apple put it in the 11 as well... for those of us who didn't need the added camera tech.
Loving the new 2020 Pro BTW!

A12Z is much, much faster than A13.The new A13 chip is a huge improvement over the A12. Not is it only 20% faster, it is also much more energy efficient.

Isn't the CPU in the A13 faster than the CPU in the A12Z?Of course
No. A13 has a single core advantage but multi-core CPU speed of A12Z is much faster than A13.Isn't the CPU in the A13 faster than the CPU in the A12Z?

But what you are missing is the energy efficiency. These new generation iPhone's got insane battery life. So I would also see this happening with the iPad Pro's.
I also hope they put in a bigger battery by making the iPad Pro a bit thicker (so it bends also less easy)
To be fair, the rumors were that this iPad Pro was supposed to come out late last year. So, it could be that the next one may be early next year.Rumors say so, but nothing is guaranteed especially with the current situation... Having said that the 2-year old CPU is also a sign that it's unlikely we'll have to wait 1.5 years, at most 1 year. But again, no guarantees... If you have a decent ipad, I would wait. That's what I am going to do with my 10.5 and 12.9 (first gen)
Micro-LED won’t be out in iPads in 2 years.its a mystery right now. I’m loving my 2018 12.9” and honestly at the price I paid for it, I’ve kind of had to say to myself the iPad is no longer an upgrade every cycle (or even 2) device. It’s just to much money to spend on a device that is blazing fast already. A micro display would be neat, but it will be just as neat in 2 more years when 5G technology is perfected.
