Hello,

SwingWords is a new cool iPhone/iPod Touch app for visual messaging.
Just wave with your iDevice back and forth, and your message appears floating in mid-air.

"SwingWords is an all-around neat little utilities app that helps you send the message in a unique way - incredibly useful for wooing, saying sorry, saying
hello and happy birthday. Can dish out some fun at a boring party, too or double as a babysitting tool - the possibilities are endless!"

"Here’s a creative new way to communicate with your friends! SwingWords lets you share messages with others just by waiving your iPhone or iPod Touch in the air. This creative app doesn’t just provide you with a bright flashing screen with a message that scrolls across, instead it flashes one letter at a time as you move your iPhone or iPod Touch back and forth. As you wave the letters seem to stick in the air showing your full message in a cool trippy kind of way."

an interesting way to use this would be like at a sporting event like a basketball game instead of using a sign, maybe you will get on tv ;)

This is misleading btw if it isnt obvious. The words wont 'hover' in the air like that, that picture was taken with a camera with a long exposure. In reality you'd only see one letter at a time. In other words useless.

This is not really right. The human eye works very slow and fast changes in contrast will afterglow for a while, and if you dont focus your eyes on the iDevice you can read it clearly :)

Write a creative usage and try it :)

If you are side by side with a pretty girl in a car, at night, and you want to give her your number, there is no easy way to write it down and give it to her, so just make a sign to her to pay attention and you can easily draw her your number, well at least I can use it that way...:D

I could see this being useful to express my "opinions" on other peoples' driving. :D

I was just thinking.

This would be great for directing traffic in a parking lot at a ski area in the wee hours of the morning. The way you could flash a message to the upcoming vehicle instead of just using a flashlight.

Messages like "Follow Me", "Park Here", "Wait", etc.

(Note, I am thinking of a Japanese ski area parking lot since I live in Japan.)

A creative way to use it would be if you were meeting friends and wanted to waive over to where you are - this would extend the gesture beyond just your hand.

Another creative use would be to have people walk around tradeshows or at your booth with your company's message

Would love a code.

Needs a wrist strap! I can see the insurance claim now: "Well, I was waving my iPhone back and forward, and it slipped out of my hand..."

Write a Valentine's Day message to your significant other! Send me a promo code, please!

I would appreciate a promo code :)

Creative application of it: Use at concerts, graduation parties, and any stage where you are in the audience and want to signal your presence or send a message to others in the audience or on stage. (also you can wave it in front of tv cameras recording events or something)
