An interesting way to use it would be picking up a stranger at an airplane terminal.

"Mr. Nagasaki"

Then you're waving AND holding a sign with his name--two birds with one stone.

And exercise your arm muscles! :p 3 birds with one phone lol

Seriously though, this app looks pretty cool!

Creative use: Using it to display the series score in a glow in the dark beer pong tournament. ;)

Aha this is a reallly cool app! I really like the concept!

This is a really cool idea. But, it doesn't seem like you could wave your arm fast enough to create the persistence of vision effect needed for this to work. To anyone who's downloaded the app, please test it out and let us know how well it works.

Thanks

If you have anymore promo codes, I'll leave feedback.

Looks pretty cool in the YouTube videos!

New SwingWords Review by SlapApp.com

Qoute:"Here’s a creative new way to communicate with your friends! SwingWords lets you share messages with others just by waiving your iPhone or iPod Touch in the air. This creative app doesn’t just provide you with a bright flashing screen with a message that scrolls across, instead it flashes one letter at a time as you move your iPhone or iPod Touch back and forth. As you wave the letters seem to stick in the air showing your full message in a cool trippy kind of way."

Looks pretty cool. I'd love to try it out. Are you still offering codes??

Looks pretty cool. Don't know how well it would work in practice. Would love to be able to try it out as its a cool idea.

I bought it and it doesn't seem to work that well. I think I am doing it right. I am completely in the dark and swing my arm at a constant pace but it doesn't show like the pictures.

Before I leave a review can anyone give me any tips on how to make it work better.

I'll pay anyone who can prove (youtube video preferred) that this app works as advertised. NOT.

There are a few points to make clear.

- the text doesnt appears really in the air, its an illusion for the eye.
- it is important to lower the screen brightness for near distances.
Otherwise the eye will be irritated and focuses only the single letters.
- for practicing please enable the audiofeedback, wave synchronously like a windscreen wiper

I could seriously see myself using this. :D I know with kids it is sometimes hard to get their attention, and my boys are no different. We take the kids to a lot of martial arts competitions and sometimes we need quick notes to them. Although they are never far away, maybe 20 to 40 feet, the noise level is very high and we (parents) can't get to them. Thus this would be a clever way to convey simple messages to them.

Would love to give it a try, if available, I'm willing to fairly review.

Thanks.

I followed the tips and the youtube video posted by the developer and it works a lot better now. I can actually read what the message is. It won't look like the pictures posted originally but it does work quite well and is a cool concept.

Really Cool

This looks amazing, miles ahead of the boring scrolling banner apps. Would love to test it out.
