This makes absoLUTELY no sense.

Four gigs in a shuffle. Sure.

Well he was right again; you have to give him credit for that.

However, this thing is so tiny. I'm not a big fan of the ultra tiny devices. My fingers are just too big.

How does one use third party ear phones when the controls are in the cord? Oh wait, more accessories to buy.

You're the man Mr. X. Stick around.

Agree w/ previous poster. Your posts are inherently negative and contribute little to the thread. Mr.X., congrats; you were, obviously, 100% accurate. IMO, update to the shuffle looks good as well; never cared much for the previous form factor. Good work. :)

Hi All,

This is Mr.X. Again.

As some of you may notice the Apple Stores are down.

This is because of another product release.

iPod Shuffle 4GB Black

Product Code: MC164

Enjoy =)

Steve, is that you???

:D

I'm not really liking the new shuffle. I was considering buying a shuffle to take to the gym as I like how it just clips on and I don't like working out with my iPhone. But alas the apple earbuds kill my ears so I need to use over the ear headphones. I called Apple to see if there are any third party headphones that will have the controls on them but they said no. So I guess it's an old 2nd gen shuffle for me until someone comes out with some headphones :(

Gizmodo says there will be an adapter. Good Call, I've never liked the controls hanging from my ear.

Update: We have talked with Apple and they said that they will sell an adapter for third-party headphones—which solves the issue about picking any headphones, even if it is for an added cost.

I'm just saying, are we really going to believe all the sensationalist crap from now on just because we "didn't get" what we wanted with the desktop updates?

lol this is just too funny
you were the first to dismiss the rumour for this, and one of the first to loudly call the 5-usb mini pic a fake.
aha

Ok guys, lets not slam Tallest Skil anymore. I like the new look, but i think the voice thing is crap. I also don't like not being able to use 3rd party headphones

This is the perfect time for competition to come up with something more interesting that this.

4 gig is quite a lot for a shuffle. Voice-Over? Totally uncalled for. Controls on the earbuds? Obligation (so far) to use the crappy Apple headphone? My God, I miss Steve already...

Why not? he was quick to slam the OP..... and pretty much any other post made that he ends up replying on.

Controls.....

Hi guys, does anyone know specifics about the controls??

I know they're on the headphone line, but every picture i can see only shows volume controls.... Any clue where the previous, next and pause buttons may be?
