iPod New iPods soon?

But really, with the iPhone 5 being announced and launched right around the same time, would anyone besides Apple fanboys care about new iPods? The average person probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between new and old iPods unless they're enormous changes.

Basically what i'm saying is... is the iPod line (excluding iPod touch) even gonna get an update? For all we know, it could go iPod classic like... no update this year.

People who love music care. And until we get a 128GB iPod touch (WITH a reasonable price - $400+ is not reasonable, sorry) I hope the Classic stays.
