The difference between the Wall Street Journal and rumor blogs guessing a release date is that the Wall Street Journal most likely got its information direct from Apple (because it is the Wall Street Journal) and rumor blogs are grasping at the same straws as you guys. I'm 99% sure we'll see it today. Don't be so negative...
It would be funny to see everyone just stuck in this thread waiting for iTunes 11 to come out and chatting about it....
Meanwhile, iTunes 11 has been out for 3 days now
It would just be a funny scenario.

I knew not to get my hopes up when I saw it.
Especially when I saw the mountain lion icon.
Sorry guys.
I wish, but no. they wouldn't use the same "iTunes. That's entertainment" sentence for a whole new version of iTunes.
Plus, that's the same art that's used in the iCloud section of the "new iTunes" page.
Oh and why would they include an iPad and an iPod touch in that picture.
Agreed. They would never reuse "iTunes. That's entertainment." Everybody knows that when it is actually released, the download page will read "iTunes. It goes to 11."
or it might say introducing the new itunes. simplicity is a beautiful thing.
If they don't use the "It goes to 11." line then it will be the greatest marketing failure in history and I will stick with iTunes 10 and buy an android phone and that Asus air-clone, or the hp mbp-clone, or the samsung mini-clone and sell my stock. I had my stock since 1999 and have been using apple computers since the 80's. i was a fanboy, but then i saw the light.
itunes. meet the pretty bastard.
