So...Adobe now has both Lightroom CC (completely new; sort of absorbs Lr Mobile, and is now a service with cloud storage), and Lightroom Classic, the same ol' desktop application, but updated (luminance and color masking; speedier). They come in three plans, one with Lr CC and online storage of 20GB, one with Lr CC, Lr Classic, Photoshop, and 20GB storage (which existing CC subscribers get), and also the latter with 1TB storage for $10/mo more.
I'm kinda wondering how the Lr CC/online storage/Lr Classic will interact for a mobile workflow. Some stuff I need in the metadata area is meh on CC, but I don't need to get that all done on the road.
And BTW, no more perpetual license Lr. http://blogs.adobe.com/photoshop/2017/10/introducing-lightroom-cc-lightroom-classic-cc-and-more.html
