So Apple specifically told me to never use iKleer on the display, but most people don’t have problems with it either.
I am quite sure it is a manufacturing process problem for exactly the reason you state. Apple is plenty good at blaming the user whenever they can. They only take responsibility with a program like this when it has been shown conclusively that it’s on them.
Yeah, I know - they used to sell and recommend it, then they didn't. I still use it about half the time. It leaves a very thin was coat on the display which I have mixed feelings about. It may be that people actually did damage displays rubbing too hard to get the wax buffed off? - not sure. And yeah, Apple is ridiculously non-responsive to manufacturing and design problems. "You're holding it wrong!" . Gimme a break?
