That would be awesome!
A touch screen desktop is one of the lamest ideas of the last 10 years.

Who wants to have to touch the screen, and WHY would you want to?

How long would it take to get sore arms and wrists?

Who wants to get finger smudges all over a nice looking screen.

A mouse is a beautiful thing.

Lame. Lame, I tell ya.

The concept has it's points of interest but overall I'd have to agree with you here.

A touch screen on a hand held device makes perfect sense. Nowhere else.

But I'm sure there's a market for one. PT Barnum would be happy.

A super-secret, super-exciting Apple announcement could only be a tablet. Anything else, while great to see, would hardly be "super-exciting". OTOH, this guy could just be hyping himself to sound good, so who knows...

*cross fingers for MacTablet nonetheless*

I really think axiotron has the tablet down. Perhaps an acquisition is in order? The Woz has been hanging out over there for the entire MW09 event...

I'm just looking for an iMac update...

i hope hope hope for the new mac mini

i hope as well that they incorporate some of the nvidia cards that have built in HDMI,

who knows, maybe the big secret is finally some sort of media server type device with the ability to use it as a pvr without 3rd party support

i doubt it though

just give me my mini!!! :)

The tip goes like this. Apple is planning on updating the Mac Mini very soon, and that update won’t be it’s death. In fact, it’s most likely ready as you read this, and could have been announced at Macworld. But instead of announcing it here, Apple held back, seemingly in an effort to prove that they don’t need Macworld.
And what exactly would be Apple's incentive for flipping a bird at Macworld?

I call shenanigans. Move along please.

I can't figure out for the life of me why either.I could see something you could put in your lap,or hold like an ipod touch, but NO way to I want to hold my arm out/up for hours at a time.

God I'm bored. I want actual products, not rumours. I should probably stop reading websites called macrumours then :D

Seriously it's more overdue than an overdue thing. Get it out already!

Do something and you will not be bored. Draw, sing, do whatever you want. Just don't hang around forums like this and stop the whining...

I think I'm about 99% sure I've given up on the mini. It is such a shame too. It was a nice machine when it came out a decade ago.
