Anyone else think that if it were to be 11"s, it might be in touch screen format?

Apple might take the Air in that direction considering all the Intel/Nvidia issues. Also, I know that it would work for me with proper docking solutions.

I admit it. I did try as had as I could to get my iPad to replace my daily laptop. If the new 11" touch screen could run OSX well, and had proper connections, I would be all over it.

No, no touch screen, UNLESS, it allows to run iOS in a shell or something.

I think the touch screen should be an LCD trackpad. It should run iOS and control the desktop.

I'm not overly knowledgeable regarding the tech aspect of things, but what if the new MBA were something of a hybrid? I won't speculate as to the guts of the machine, but is it possible to produce a computer that had the screen of the old MBA and in place of the keyboard something like an elongated iPad?

On the one hand you'd have a fully functioning computer, and on the other hand, you'd have the glass keyboard running on iOS which would offer an iPad-type experience underneath.

Again, I'm no tech expert, but that would certainly create its own niche.
