FYI about idisk and SSL

If you use the "built in" idisk icon in Finder, it uses http, not https (meaning everything is sent in clear text).

If you want to add SSL encryption, simply ignore that icon (disable it in Finder prefs if you want) and create your own connection:

with the Finder menu active, press command-k (or select "GO" from the menu, then "Connect to Server"). In the "server address" box type https://idisk.me.com/your-mobileme-name, click the plus sign to save it to the favorites list, click the "connect" button, log in and you're done.

Graphite Icons possible???

Your blue icons are fantastic, but my system is in graphite.
Could you do the same icons in graphite instead of blue ???

Thank you so much....:D

Missing icon in sidebar

I believe I followed the instructions properly, but the icon disappeared in the sidebar. the words are there and the drive is functioning properly, but there is no icon. The icon changed and looks great in finder. What to do?

Now my network drives are missing icons

Does anyone know why they disappeared &/or what I can do to repair them?
I attached a screen shot. weird.

the iDisk icon has changed. I thought they'd do this as the iDisk app on the iPhone is blue.

Kinda liked the pink though :( much better to have a nice range of diverse colours, rather than grey HD, blue folders, blue iDisk icon!

I liked the pink icon. :(

It just shows that you can't please everyone

I like the blue one. I am very happy that Apple has decided to change it to blue, so I don't have to change it back after every update!

:p

Anyway, here is the pink one from 10.5.7:
