There are quite a few BT mice out there. But most of them are tiny.

There is one called The Mouse BT II and also Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 8000.

I haven't tried neither of them, but I've tried a couple of other models from MacMice which were ok but nothing great. So besides the look of the MS mouse I think it's the best one of the two.
Thanks, but the former is only a 2-button mouse and the latter is not supported on Mac; yes, you can get it to work, but it is flaky. Microsoft has yet to do a standard bluetooth stack.

I purchased the wireless mighty mouse when my new iMac and after using it for near 2-3 weeks now, I am not impressed. I changed the settings to enable the right click but I in any game or program running full screen the right click seems to lag or not occur at all. It really was pissing me off. So I might go back to a Logitech... I think my last one was a Mx510 so who knows.

Received my WIRED Mighty Mouse and it's no better. Actually maybe worse.
I know that my generic Microsoft optical mouse didn't have any of the issues I am getting with both MMs.

Yeah I hate the MM! I so much prefer the one button mouse that came with my G4 Quicksilver! The right button is so sensitive and annoying! So Now I just use my old mouse from my G4. It's lasted me 6 years now of constant use!!

Couldn't you just set it to only one button?

I'm still using the old mouse, BT model, but I plan to upgrade soon

Sorry, but you are wrong!

Can anyone recommend me a good looking mouse, that is not the mighty mouse, because I hate that thing and it's too expensive.

I wish Apple would just make a nice 2 button mouse with a scroll wheel. I mean I love apple but when the hell are they going to accept that this is just better than the stupid 1 click mouses they have been making all the time. Different isn't always better.

Anyway the best looking mouse I have found so far that is decently prices is actually a Microsoft mouse lol. But I'm sure there must be something better out there....anyone? I also kinda like the Lenovo mouse but it's in black only.

Actually, the Mighty Mouse has not one, but four buttons. If you go into system preferences, and click on keyboard and mouse, you'll see options for adding functionality to different parts of the mouse. For instance, you can designate the right side of the mouse as right click. It will take a little while to get used to, but stick with it and you'll have a right and left click mouse.

can anyone recommend a decent coreded mouse?

I've had the Razer Deathadder for a few days now and I have to say that it's one sweet mouse.

It's just so smooth in every way. The surface on the top is smooth, the scroll wheel is smooth, and it flies smoothly over the table like a hovercraft. The side buttons are perfectly placed right where the thumb is so you won't have to move the thumb one bit, still you can't click them by mistake.

I bought it to replace the MX Revolution that I wasn't very happy with. And while I do miss the thumb-wheel on the MX the conveniently placed sidebuttons on the Deathadder makes up for it. And the scroll wheel on Deathadder is just soo much smoother and relaxing compared to the jerky micro gear wheel on the MX.

There are a few negative things about it. The LED lights make it look like a pc modders mouse, but luckily these can be turned off with the help of the windows driver. The middle click is a bit too stiff so it takes some effort to push it down, but it's certainly not worse than the MX. Also, the mouse is a little on the big side. I've always prefered small mice so it's a bit awkward for me. I hope I get used to it.
Also, I don't like corded mice. But I've given up finding a good wireless one, and the cord on this one is at least thin enough not to get in the way. And the lack of batteries makes it light and easy to move around.

All in all a highly recommended mouse.

Multitouch Mouse in January!

This is the most boring patent I've ever seen from Apple. But read carefully the explanation for it. It absolutely makes sense with only one product, that still doesn't exist: The Multitouch Mouse.

To me it seems like a discrete hint, that they bring it in January.
Anyone who want's to bet on it?

Are you smoking crack?

That patent is for a mini disc adapter to be used in slot loading drives...
Has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with a pointing device.

I've had two mighty mice and finally got a logitech LX7

I don't like the side bars on the MM they click on when I'm just holding it my hand. Also the constant cleaning of the micro ball, you have to take time out your day to do that.

I have pets and have had to take the mighty mice apart to extract the micro hairs and gunk from the micro rollers. I've had the LX7 for two weeks and it has been great.

The MM needs a major update if they want me to buy that product again. Maybe the MM would work great in a high tech 'clean room' but we don't live that way.
