Yeah, I saw your numbers. Latest rev PB, right? That seems very low from what you describe.

Yep, very low! My brandnew PB15's battery is now down to 605 mAh... A new battery is on its way, but my local Applestore tech told me that "a lot of the new PB batteries are down, so I might have to wait longer than he would like me to..."

Well... my PB arrived today, and the battery is just plain dead! Won't charge, pressing the battery check button on the bottom is pointless, and... m00h. I wouldn't be pissed about it, if my DARN telco hadn't foobar'd the telephone line again (thank god DSL still works), which means I can't call AppleCare to tell them to send me a new battery... but that's not Apple's fault, after all ;)

I've just got my new 15" PB, this is what it shows:
Battery Information:

Battery Installed: Yes
First low level warning: No
Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 4370
Remaining Capacity (mAh): 2930
Amperage (mA): 2624
Voltage (mV): 12171
Cycle Count: 2

I think the cycle count is 2 because I accidentaly unplugged the power before it finished charging. I have not done what folks call calibration yet. I'll try that soon.

After a couple of calibration cycles I now have this:

Battery Information:

Battery Installed: Yes
First low level warning: No
Full Charge Capacity (mAh): 4537
Remaining Capacity (mAh): 4537
Amperage (mA): 0
Voltage (mV): 12528
Cycle Count: 6

Calibration works :)
