New-revision Yoobao cases are out! iPad 2 owners, rejoice!

This is a new order for the 2nd gen. I ordered shortly after this thread started.

i just received a shipping confirmation from AYL as well, hopefully i'll get it by thursday since i'm in the east coast.

to the ones that already has it, does the case stay closed in the sleep position?

I'm located in Canada and unfortunately Amazon.com doesn't ship here. Is there another reputable online dealer where I can purchase the new Yoobao cases?
 
It doesn't, no. But then I wouldn't have expected it to. But the tolerance for keeping the screen closed is much improved over the original Yoobao iPad 2 case, so even if you lift the cover a little, the screen stays off. You have to really mean to open the cover for the screen to come on.

Brown. It's very pretty. The review should be up in the next 24 hours of all three colors, but sadly I only have a black iPad 2 in hand at this time. The brown/white combo looks great, though, and that's what I'd go for. The brown cover with a black iPad 2 is a little funny to me, but red could be fun, too, though a little louder!

Glad to hear that. My brown one is on its way to me. Should look great on my white ipad

Red Yoobao

I ordered this case last thursday. Should I have gotten a shipping notice already? I know that it says they will be available the 22nd but I hear other people already getting it.
 
Specifically which case on Amazon is the "new and improved, non-smelly" Yoobao case that replaces the infamous original one offered by AYL for the iPad2? Thanks!
 
I ordered a brown one from the first link in the post and when i ordered it said would be in stock on april 22. I got a shipment email last night, so i guess they got them in early

Yeah, I'd be great if there was any reseller that ships this new versions (although I'm highly concerned that there will be no certainty of whether you purchase a Mk 1 or 2) within europe - preferably not some random eBay-seller from China. :) I would really like to be sure that I can return the case if I don't like it.

I'm actually quite happy with my Belkin Trifold at the moment but I only bought this because the original version of the Yoobao stank to much for my taste in the first place. :-/
 
Does anyone that have this case also carry a Timbuk2 Freestyle bag, or one of the Timbuk2 iPad sleeves? Will it fit with this Yoobao case on?

I currently have the silicone iLuv case on it and it's snug in the sleeve of my Freestyle bag.

*edit* I like how I'm still considered a "newbie" even thought my join date was 2003. LOL.
 
Been using this revision case since Saturday and it's been working absolutely flawlessly. I'm quite happy with the *fixed* version we now have.
