Really like the cool look of the nylon bands! I like that the adapters match the band and I'm a fan of the buckle on my classic leather so happy to see it repeated here. Some colors are already 2-3 weeks out.

Wow, shocked by all the colored band colors now for the classic! Nice shades of color. Probably my favorite looks. Still priced the same.

Going to check out the sport band colors now.

Anyone know if these are available in store today?

From the Buy page, it appears that everything I looked at is "Available to Ship" so I don't think so. Otherwise we'd be seeing Check Store I think. It would be great though if they at least had one of each on display in the Stores so if you wanted to see it first in person and then order you had that opportunity. I realize that not everyone has a Store near them to even stop in so maybe they don't see having sample bands on display a top priority and instead are working to have supplies for shipping to customers.

Still no leather loop for 38 mm. Still no modern buckle for 42 mm. 9 classic buckle colors and not one of them have black adapters/buckle.

Not trying to be negative, but I really don't understand why they're not making these simple decisions.

I kind of doubt there will be a 42 mm modern buckle. I tried on the 38mm when they first came out and that buckle is rather large. It extends out a number of mm on each side from the band. With a wider band the buckle would have to be even larger and as it was for me I thought the buckle on the 38mm was larger than I liked. Aesthetically don't think you'd want the buckle competing with the size of the case.

Yeah as for black adapters/buckles, looks like only the black woven band, black milanese loop and black link has black hardware. Kind of sucks for those with black faced cases that want to maintain a single metal color but then again those with colored aluminum cases more or less have had to chose from mixed metal and colors. On the woven bands all the buckles are aluminum metal this time around (with the exception of the black version) as opposed to polished SS. So guess with my SS watch and any of the Woven band colors I like I'll have to get use to having an aluminum buckle. I wouldn't expect Apple to mass produce bands in all colors and hardware but it would be nice if you had the option to order a customized band. If you are willing to wait for it by ordering online, that's the only way I can see being able to please everyone.

Yeah thats a good point. I'm guessing that they'll probably start getting these in stores in the next couple days. I think I'm going to wait to see this in real life. Has anyone found any hands-on photos/impressions from the event?

Did anyone notice the double tour Hermes band on the model on the Hermes page?

http://www.apple.com/apple-watch-hermes/

That looks like a new band that's not out yet.
[doublepost=1458591801][/doublepost]I do have to say compared to other smart watch companies out there Apple has by far the widest customization than any other company.

If the new nylon bands look as premium as I hope (the mock-ups aren't very telling) then they seem like solid values. I'm not normally one for this type of band since hey usually look cheap but these pop pretty well.

I just wish the new nylon straps would use the same adapter as the leather straps - I don't really like the looks of the strap where they connect to the case.

Cool to get the space black Milanese and glad they rounded out some more bands for the sports watch with the nylon but kind of surprised we still don't have a red leather loop. Oh well really happy they came out with the space black Milanese I've been waiting for that one for a while. I've been holding off because I want one with the DLC coating that stuff is really amazing. Interested in seeing how those nylon bands look in person though I've heard those can be really comfortable and they would be perfect for camping.

I'm not really liking how small the width of these nylon bands is. I was expecting them to have the same width as the classic leather buckle. It makes the watch look massive in comparison.

I was hoping that the higher end bands like the classic buckle and the link bracelet would see a price drop as well. Almost every Apple Watch I see in public has either a sport band or a 3rd party band because people can't justify paying $500 for a watch band. I can only imagine how outrageous the profit margin is for Apple on these bands.

If you think about it, nylon bands need to be woven by nature and as such can't be cut to shape like leather or made curved like metal, so basically confined to a straight strap. Thinking only way to get the extra curved side width would have been to have an adapter like the Classic used and have the nylon stitched around the tube. Sort of what I have with my 3rd party spring bar adapter and zulu nylon band. Sometimes the seams are fine, other times the nylon seam edge can have a sharp edge to it and poke into your wrist. So I get why the Woven bands are done the way they are. Avoids that problem completely.

I really do like the multicolored weaving on the bands in general though and wish I had a sport watch for them. They are flirty and fun looking and finally an aluminum buckle for the sport watch crowd.

Eh, they're comparable to other high-end watch brands. Even if margins are insanely high in a lot of cases you're getting an Apple Watch for at least a couple hundred cheaper than an analog watch/band with similar build quality.

I'm hoping to get the AWS with the Royal Blue sports band in a couple of months (it's such a nice colour!) and later on (cause it's kinda expensive lol, unless someone gives it to CEX....) the Black Milanese loop!

I'm not that into the Nylon bands....I mean, they've got real nice colours, but personally, i wouldn't wear them.

I was hoping for this as well :(
I got the Link Bracelet with scratches and scuffs from CEX for £100 (apart from that, it works and looks great), it probably is worth the amount they charge for, but i couldn't justify that amount of money on the thing that holds that technology to my wrist lol, £100-£150 is probably the most i'd spend on it.
I don't earn a whole lot of money, i'm a Freelance artist, so i can't spend that amount of money all the time lol.

Figure there will always be things priced out of one's comfort range. No explanations really needed. We all probably have our limits or sometimes stretch them and do without something else LOL.

I'm sure the link looks great on you. It is a really nice look that can be worn all the time and from casual to dress. Sounds like you got a nice deal on yours and you have to figure it's going to get scuffs after wearing it anyway. I think you will love the sport band. I think that blue is a nice color addition to their line.

Wonder if the new straps are in my local Apple Store. Nice walk into town at lunch time is needed.

Damn it damn it damn it... Why is there so little Space Black love from Apple in straps department? (Space Grey users even)... I know we just got the Milanese (Should have been there from the start like the link) but how about some of the leather bands? Really a missed (and easy) opportunity here.
