Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 prices
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has been launched in three variants differentiated by the storage spaces.
As mentioned, the variant with 64GB storage is priced at £385 / $509
The 128GB storage variant is priced at £420 / $555, while the top-end 256GB variant is priced at £465 / $615.

There is also a limited edition Mi MIX 2 variant boasting a ceramic body, 128GB storage, and a whopping 8GB of RAM. This variant comes in black and white colors, and is priced at £545 / $720

The "Apple of China" really are upping the game here with Mi Mix 2, this device at these prices offer a compelling choice for smartphone users.

"The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is finally official. This is the highly anticipated follow up to the original bezelless phone and Xiaomi has gone smaller with its successor.

Instead of the 6.4-inch 17:9 display of the first-gen Mi Mix, the Mi Mix 2 opts for a 5.99-inch 18:9 FullHD+ (2160x1080p) making its overall footprint smaller and bringing a higher screen-to-body ratio. Xiaomi boasts of a 12% reduced bottom bezel too and the front glass is curved on all sides.

The Mi Mix 2 naturally gets the top of the line Snapdragon chipset - the 835. It can be paired to 6GB or 8GB of RAM - the 6GB model has either 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage while the 8GB model is dubbed Special Edition has 128GB storage and a ceramic body.

The standard aluminum Mi Mix 2 comes in black, while the 8GB RAM ceramic Special edition is available in black or white. The 6GB+64GB Mi Mix 2 will run you RMB 3,299 (€420), the 6GB+128GB costs RMB 3,599 (€460), the 6GB+256GB is RMB 3,999 (€510). The 8GB+128GB ceramic unibody special edition is €700."

It will support global bands! I don't know about you guys but I couldn't care about the iPhone X or Note 8 with this specs and for half of the price!

The premium model is an amazing price for the specs. This is definitely an Essential phone killer, if the reviews are positive.

£385 for that?! Meanwhile the other side of this forum is going nuts for the iPhone X which will be 3 times the price!!

As ever, await reviews but bravo, Xiaomi. As a media consumption device/phone, that is amazing value.

Doesn't kill squat, it's not available in the west. Not sure if it will be available for you UKers, but from what I understand it's China only on launch. That's why I hate these threads, no disrespect to the OP. There are probably a million and one phones, especially south Korean ones, that are amazing but will never be released out here.

OK /rant off, otherwise the phone is amazing, just wish I could get my hands on it.

It's compatible with T-mobile and ATT bands. Pretty sure it'll be easy to get one on Amazon, Ebay, Gearbest, and etc.

Xiaomi became popular because of MIUI, a skin for Android. And it is pretty damn great, even on low budget phones runes miles around Samsung flagship phones + more customizable + (subjective) better looking.

And because of their popularity, 3rd party sellers have those phones weeks after launch ready to be purchased. I've owned more then a dozen xiaomi phones, mostly flagship phones, but also some mid range ones. And each and every one of those phones works and feels great.

I always have a phone from 'redmi' series around me, because if I need battery life more then anything else, redmi is the way to go.

I didn't own Mi Mix, too large for my taste, and I hate prototype phones. But Mi Mix 2 will be mine. And in a 2-3 weeks, when first batch of preorders go out, and second preorders start, I will order one for sure.

They aren't really hard to get by. A lot of shops sell them in EU, and I bet a lot of them do the same for USA. If not, there is always alliexpress and paying for shipments that won't go thru customs.

Not bad. Not bad at all. I couldn't BELIEVE the price when you posted it, @deany!

I'm not super crazy about the bezel at the bottom of the screen -- I wish it was more symmetrical like that of the Galaxy phones or the LG V30. But I digress. That's still a heck of a design for a heck of the price.

Hmm, I'll be curious if it has all the bands needed for operation, even the more obscure ones. But the phone isn't something that a typical western consumer would have the resources or know how to obtain, and even a techie like myself would hesitate to get one due to possible missing bands and warranty issues. But still good point, it seems like a beast of a phone and may be worth looking into.

I can't stand MIUI, but I can't stand most android skins anyhow. I'd MUCH prefer it if they just put vanilla android on there. As for Xiaomi quality, I think it's pretty good. I have a windows MiPad 2 I got from gearsbest and it has some intermittent screen issues, they put way too little RAM in it, but otherwise I'm very satisfied for the price I paid. Of course if I run into warranty issues (which I may with the screen), it's a LOT of trouble getting it serviced. Between interfacing with their customer service and getting it out to China, it's almost worth just buying another one.

In the UK we source from aliexpress, gearbest, Xiaomi store and banggood.

Ahhh, upon further inspection I can see that they skimped on the screen. That's a little bit of a bummer.

1080p, IPS panel. For the price, I can't say that it's a deal breaker, but having owned an OLED phone, it'd be difficult to go back.

I think it will be available, as long as its Global it should work in Canada.
I've ordered a Xiaomi Note 4 for £118 (UK) to test android OS with a view to snag a Mi Mix 2
I really like the look and price of this device its just I love iOS.
Xiaomi drop the price when sales have reached a certain level so I may get 64GB version at sub £300, this would be a bargain.
