Sweet, thanks guys. I heard the minis could be pushed to 16 GB (unofficially). I'm at 8 GB now, and in a year, 16 will no doubt be the new 8. Nice that I haven't hit a plateau just yet.
Yes, tested Corsair 8GB x 2 = 16GB in the 2011 Mac Mini Server (i7 quad core w/ integrated Intel HD 3000 Graphics). Also tested in 2011 15" MacBook Pro to be confirmed work. Did not test 27" iMac as this model has had memory comparability issues with it's firmware. Samsung tends to be the only brand that can occupy all four slots with out random shutdowns.
How much memory does the integrated hd3000 utilize with 16gb? If it doubles from 256ish to 512ish that'd be awesome.
So the Corsair 8GB x 2 = 16GB have been tested. Any test any others?
Btw, since I'm in Japan is Corsair made by an Asian company? I'm wondering what RAM I could find in Asia/Japan that would works as well as Corsair.
If it's too risky I'll just have it sent to my family back home then have them send it to me.

I have tested 7 sticks of 8gb ram 3 elpida 2 corsair 2 samsung in the three minis all good.
no also the 2010 can be picky with ram
How about 8GB + 4GB in a 2010 mini, or am I stuck with 8GB.
