Absolutely !! Why are people jumping on the horse ?? by speculating that OLED Panels will be expensive to make, who the hell herr has any contacts with the display suppliers in China and Taiwan or even Samsung, LG, or Sharp !! It is all very fun and elite and suauve to talk well I know much and so I know OLED are expensive to make .Everyone is effin giving their rubbish here ! No body here has any credible information or contacts that can verify this information that OLED Panels would be three times the cost to manufacture ! Can people stop postung stuff like this !!

I think people are relying on 5 year old information. It seems the cost of OLED has come down as the cost of any new technology always comes down. At this point they could probably do it, but if it will eat into their profit margins even a little.....forget it. Tim Cook's Apple is about minimizing costs for supplies and maximizing profits. Remember, the guy worked in procurement. It's just how he thinks.

You don’t have to have sources to confirm this, it basic knowledge to look up or understand from a material standpoint. OLED uses natural elements so it is harder to make, Micro LED or even LCD LED are manufactured so theirs costs will logically be less (in this case since Micro LED is so new) it will be more expensive, but just like LCD was expensive when projector TVs or tube TVs were the norm.
Anyhoo, I don’t think you need to get so angry because people aren’t on board with OLED. Does getting angry somehow help the situation?
I like how OLED looks and works as much as any tech fan... but it has more limitations than LCD LED, and so I’d take the tech that lasts longer and is more affordable right now, (especially if the LCD is already incredibly fantastic tech.)
*Anyways, not trying to argue, but just putting this out there for “food for thought.”

But at the same tiime force feeding the audience here with something that sounds really like an inside information when it is not is also not 100% true.

Nobody is telling you that you have to believe them. If people had inside info they would say so...so in the absence of such notification it’s safe to assume that they are just engaging in speculation and stating their opinion. Regardless...is it really worth getting worked up?
