It was OTA and I got it Friday I believe....it was towards the end of last week, about a day or two after the announcement came out that it was being pushed out.

There are some posts on the Nexus 4 Owners thread that talk about some ways to get the OTA update to push by refreshing some stuff - frankly, I'm new to Android and hadn't the slightest idea what they were talking about since mine ended up coming through on its own. I'd check it out if I were you though.

I've noticed a substantial increase in battery life with 4.2.2, and the pictures above are about what I'd expect and need from a smartphone!

It is possible to force it by rebuilding the android framework. You find it in your system. Force Stop it, clear its data then do a check for updates. I would be wary about doing it multiple times if it does not work because I have heard stories of it corrupting your Google account. Although it isn't as bad as it sounds as simply removing your google account from your phone and putting it back in "uncorrupts" it... I do not know for sure what other problems might come from that.

I'm achieving phenomenally better battery life now. Before I was just barely making it through the day and sometimes not even that. But now I can squeeze about a day and a half.
