Hehe, yeah I've been thinking about it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy it after the google announcement though, it's almost perfect as a smartwatch IMO.

There is no way Google would release a stand alone phone like that. I don't see the purpose of just getting emails and messages on your wrist.

I'd imagine they'd try and push some Google Glass functionality over to a smartwatch. So I think it would be more than simple emails and texts. Plus, I'm sure a mini computer on your wrist has multiple potential uses that we just haven't thought of yet.

Yeah no doubt. In terms of google now though, in using it I've seen limited functionality in all honesty, maybe it's just how I use it. I think no matter what they add to it, in the end it's just going to be a glorified message checker like all the other smartwatches out there.

But we will see, hopefully something gets announced and Google proves me wrong.

Haha I think we already agree on the downfalls of Google Now in its current form ;)

A watch would likely provide the spark to make Now into a better assistant though so I'd be interested to see if they've developed it with 4.4 or with the rumoured watch
