Hmm, anyone has any idea why these 2 Dell Mini DP to DP adapter is priced differently?

Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Adapter (Retail Pack) at RM79.00

and

Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort Adapter at RM29.00

These adapters should allow me to use max 2560x1440 resolution right?

Hmm, is there such thing as a max resolution on these adapters? Cause on the Dell website it states the max resolution to be 2058 x 1600. Problem is, I never heard of a 2058 x 1600 monitor

I believe the model was released mid 2013, so pretty recent. I've only owned mine for a week or five.

Don't bother with an adaptor, just get a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable. The fewer the connections, the smaller the potential for problems.
