No apparently the NMP have are fitted with the latest "smellcell" technology which allows replication of a number of different recognised comfort smells, dependant on location and time of year.

Due to the cold weather the automatic sensors release the preset fresh bread aroma to create that warm cosy atmosphere.

The other presets that I am aware of are Spring: you get a fresh cut grass smell.

Summer: is a heady mix of vanilla ice cream with the faint aroma of coconut suntan lotion.

Of course many other smells are programmable although this feature only exists in the models with the D700 cards, for the D300/ 500 models this feature is a £2000 extra and must be ordered at time of purchase.........

I was going to wait until the end of the month to order mine, but this thread actually made me go ahead and order one this past weekend! So I'm now in the waiting line for about 6 weeks. Can't wait to get that fresh baked bread smell in the room!
