no camera icon in 3.0 MMS!?

You still have to edit the carrier IPCC file to get MMS working. Just calling O2 won't make it magically show up.

Just tried the carrier file, its syncing now will try it after its synced! Will keep you updated

OK after a restart the MMS option is there... but when i try to send something i get an message sending failure

I dont see a camera icon. yes its turned on and everything is set right. but there is no camera icon. i cant even paste a photo in the text box, it just says the photo name - e.g., IMG_12.JPG or something like that.

im in the uk and on o2 with a contract no unlocking/funny business.

I solved the problem of the camera icon on my iphone. Go to Setting, General, Network, Cellular Data Network. Scroll down to MMS. Input you carrier MMS settings (can get it from http://www.modmyi.com/wiki/index.php/Carrier_APN_Settings).

Then go to back to Settings, Phone. At the top input your number in international format in the box "My Number" and go back.

Restart the iPhone and your camera icon should show up. It worked for me.
