12.1 is beta and the Screen Time settings seem messed up.

I was merely pointing that a later version is or will be out.

I have trouble with WiFi calling so there's that, though minor one for me.

Hi all. I'm having the same issue - after updating to ios 12 on iphone 6S, I cannot connect to cellular data. I can only get data on wifi and LTE. I travel 120 miles daily to work so this is not good at all. Does anyone have any updates? Nothing mentioned has worked for me so far. Thanks!

Cellular data is LTE. So if you can connect to LTE, your device is working fine.

Thanks for the reply. I can only get internet service on LTE for about 5 miles from my house and cannot get it any longer until I get to my work and get on wifi. If I'm on 3G or 1X, I have NO data connectivity. This is one of the reported issues with the new ios12.

What iPhone are you using?

I’m still having this problem with my iPhone 7 on 12.0.1.

What seems to trigger losing cellular data most times for me is when I leave my home WiFi network. I walk out of the house and by time I’m driving for awhile it says could not activate cellular network. Then I need to reboot. Other times it just happens randomly out of nowhere. Sometimes it goes a few days without doing it and then it happens again! Super annoying!

That's exactly what I am experiencing on my iphone 6S. Just out of curiosity, where did you get the 12.0.1 update? Yes, it is SUPER annoying especially when I'm on the road commuting to/from work 3 hours daily. There has got to be a fix for this soon! I'm ready to buy a Walmart phone. People I know that have them are not having any issues with their data.

I downloaded it OTA when it came out. I’m hoping for a fix too. There’s gotta be a connection with it dropping out after losing WiFi. Seems like it’s happening too frequently for there not to be a bug with it.

Just randomly happened again this morning... had to reboot.. sigh...:(

I’m afraid this is going to happen when I’m running a marathon tomorrow and I’ll lose all my tracking progress!! I wish ATT or apple could fix this.

Still happening with iOS 12.0.1 and AT&T 33.2. I’m noticing it about 3-4 times per week. Reboot is the only solution (until it happens again).

I've been following this thread and it's the sole reason I am holding off upgrading. Has ATT acknowledged the issue or are they blaming Apple?

My gut feeling it’s something with iOS 12. It started ever since I updated my 7 and continues to happen sometimes 2-4 times a day or it doesn’t happen for a few days but eventually happens again. My wife has a 8plus still on 11.4.1 and she hasn’t had this happen at all. Sure feels like a iOS 12 bug. It sucks because everything else about iOS 12 feels better than iOS 11. Guess I’ll just have to wait and see if 12.1 fixes this. I hope it does! I’m sick of having to reboot my phone multiple times per day in order to use it!!

I caught it happening again a little bit ago. It goes to searching then signal comes back full strength and then no data till reboot.

If apple plans on IOS 12.1 next week

They are not going too come out too 12.02 this week

is 12.1b4 brought AT&T Carrier up to version 34.0

Every new beta has updated AT&T. Maybe this 34.0 is a good sign?

I found this old thread on reddit. Looks like this has been a problem since the early betas of iOS 12 in the summer and never got taken care of.

One guy mentions that he turned off WiFi calling and that seems to have fixed his issue. I too have turned off WiFi calling and so far so good. No issues yet for one whole day. Knock on wood... we’ll see how tomorrow goes..

Try turning off wifi calling. Ever since I did that I have had no problems! Give it a shot and let me know if it’s still happens!

Welp....just happened again. I thought it fixed it by turning off WiFi calling but nope. Same old story. But it did go a few days without doing it. I think it does have something to do with going in and out of WiFi connections. That’s what seems to trigger it for me most of the time. Can’t wait for 12.1. I sure hope this is fixed. So annoying.

Happened again. This time it was when I rejoined my home WiFi network. Anybody have this bug that seems to be fixed with iOS 12.1 beta? This is driving me nuts!!!
