I was searching for the native facebook app for iPad and I can't find it. If it exist I must be blind...

Help?

IMO the web browsing is so good, it's almost better to use the full Facebook webpage rather than limit yourself with a streamlined app....for what it's worth

I have my Facebook page on my home screen and I don't have to log in every time I go back

Does facebook chat work on the facebook webpage for y'all?? Mine worked fine until mid-day yesterday and hasn't worked since. This really has me bummed because I was so happy that facebook chat worked in Safari on the iPad and that is the whole reason I don't need to use the app.

Thanks,
James

^^^burn.

I'm not sure that we'll be seeing an iPad Facebook App. IIRC, the developer of the iPhone App decided to stop working on the app (or doesn't work for Facebook anymore, or something like that).

No sense in an app when you can get very good functionality with the website.

I am still anxious for the App. Especially since they took away the Chat, and most of the videos do not run in Safari.

I downloaded the iPad Facebook app on Saturday but it disappeared from the app store the next day.

You aren't missing much. The app was full of bugs and it worked horribly. It probably was good that it was pulled.

There is some new form of the Chat today. I personally hope, they can make an iPad version of the site. Something a little more intimately designed with photo/video upload would be perfect.
