Just saw Verizon is doing $400 off of the X, no trade-in required.

$300 off the XS with new line (doesn't help me) or $100 off existing line with trade-in.

This isn't helping my internal X vs XS battle...

$500 for new 64gb X is a great value. Is the XS worth double the price with a 250target/300wally gift card? Is it worth $850 going the best buy route?

Verizon doesn't usually offer too many deals for existing customers looking to upgrade to an iPhone, esp. without trade in/unlimited data/new line/etc. I'm going for it! If they run out of stock before I can place my order I'll bite the bullet for the XS...

That’s definitely an option. However, they have offers which give you monthly credits for 36 months. I’m not a T-Mobile customer, but I’m hoping the other carriers don’t follow.

Yes the monthly device credits are nice from T-Mobile, but in my situation, if I upgraded my X to the XS Max, I would’ve lost 1 year of remaining credits if I traded my X in or would’ve paid 1 year of the remaining credits if I paid my device off early. The only option I have is to keep my device until next November and upgrade then, or I can still upgrade but continue making device payments on the X and XS Max. I chose to keep my X until September 2019, and I’ll let the 2 additional device payments continued to be charged until it’s completely paid off and then upgrade but also put down 50% of the device (will be saving up starting in March 2019, so that it don’t cut into my daughter’s school supply and uniform list).

I just switched to T-Mo from AT&T. I'll take their lower prices and lack of promotions any day over a phone bill that's twice as much
