iPad No Ipad Mini 6.. what to order now?

If Mini 5 had stereo speakers and solid touch ID button I'd own one but right now I'd rather use my 7 Plus because of these two things. Fingers crossed these come to Mini 6.

OK I'll make it clearer: Having two speakers on the bottom only does not create stereo. I would want a top and bottom firing speaker (sound from two different locations).

And the home button currently is the mushy mechanical button so I hope this is replaced for the pressure sensitive button.

Go figure, perhaps one will come sooner than autumn?

If you are buying an iPad as a laptop replacement it's worth buying an air or pro. I you draw or write on it a lot, the pro is worth the upgrade to get the faster screen refresh rate and a better writing experience.

If you have a laptop, the mini is the best iPad. Being able to hold it in one hand makes it much more useful. If you are going to work at a table, just use your laptop and get more done faster with the better OS. A 256GB iPad Pro with magic keyboard costs more than a 256GB MBA and weighs nearly as much.

I really want the Rose Gold so would probably keep my Mini 5 on those specs. Wouldn’t want to buy a colour I don’t really like to have the latest and greatest only for a colour I like to be released later a la iPhone 12.

Keen to hear how you find the Pro. I've currently got a Mini 2 that's on its last legs and, looking at the current iPad line up, I've come to the unexpected conclusion that the Pro may be the next step.
