No iPad WiFi in Florida?

Must be a great place to live - I have to drive 25 miles to the nearest Apple Store and they never have iPads!

I just went over my lifetime limit today.

I purchased 1 32gb and a 64gb @ the aventura miami store.

There are three (3) Apple Stores in the Orlando area:
Florida Mall (near Orlando International Airport)
Millenia Mall (approx 15 min from the Walt Disney World area via I-4)
Altamonte Mall (approx 30 min from the Walt Disney World area via I-4)

I bought my WiFi iPad at the Millenia store. I called the night before and was told there were none, but that they get shipments almost daily and they were expecting a shipment the next day. After work the next day, I stopped in and was able to get my iPad.

Typically when Apple Stores run out they are replenished the next morning.

I fly in on Monday... and am also hoping to support the local Florida economy.
I was going to try the Millenia store first - as it looked to be the largest (via the photo)?
Does Florida still have stock / or being restocked regularly?
I'm hoping to pick up a 64GB WiFi + 3 G one on Tues morning?

I think that the best advice is to maybe get an iTunes account for each shop you plan to visit, add your name to the list in the stores you visit and be prepared to wait a few days. My first iPad could be collected 4 days after I added my name. There are three shops in Orlando within 20 miles. I got my iPad in Florida Mall, my case in Millenia and (as we were passing) the camera kit in Boca Raton.

I've never been to altamonte, my first trip to that mall had us in the middle of a brawl in the food court with cast iron chairs flying around. We haven't been back since! Lol!

Yes I realised I had them around the wrong way - when I just grabbed their addresses off the Apple site.
I think my hotel has a shuttle bus to one of these malls actually!

Just remember that nothing here is upside down like in Australia. so just keep that in mind when adjusting.

Whoo! Got one waiting for me today. Seems I have to go to the pool to 'enjoy' myself first. Also managed to pick up an Apple cover for it in Orlando Mall this morning. Cost me a dress and $39.99.

Was on wait list 6 days in portland, just picked up a new 64gig 3G tonight. Going to craiglist my 64 gig.

The only online registration I found for Florida Mall was Genius Bar - which obviously I don't need!

Altamont seems like a less busy store, so might have a shorter line. Again, I got my 64 3G (likely a less popular model due to cost) in less than a week.

It's set up and running now. Love it. Can't wait until more apps are Universal or native.

No stocks of any iPads at Florida or Millenia Mall.
So yes you would need to register for WiFi model.

That was as of yesterday anyway.
